
La Tour Melas
Set on 27 acres surrounded by ancient, untouched oak forests, overlooking the Aegean Sea in central Greece, La Tour Melas is making unforgettable, award-winning wines in a very special way. La Tour Melas uses biodynamic, organic methods and treats the vineyard as a unified organism. This balances the interrelationship of soil, plants and animals as a self-nourishing system without external input. Flocks of geese and sheep graze the vineyard in winter to keep weeds in control, and bees begin pollinating the surrounding flowers in spring. In harmony with the astronomical planting calendar, artisan wine growers choose the precise phase of the moon for cultivating, pruning, harvesting, and even filling bottles and racking barrels.
Our Wines

Idylle
Grenache Noir 35%, Agiorgitiko 30%, Syrah 35%
Expressive citrus aromas, with notes of peach followed by hints of menthol and white flowers. A good balance of acidity giving vibrant freshness. The Idylle has a pleasant medium body with flavors of citrus, grapefruit and stone fruit. The grapes are carefully handpicked and the maceration time is around 8 hours. Then cold fermentation takes place for 13-20 days followed by aging on fine lees for 4 months.
Pairing: Ideal with lobster pasta, goat cheese topped salmon and margherita pizza but this wine can handle grilled meats and more.

Cyrus One
Agiorgitiko 40%, Cabernet Franc 32%, Merlot 28%
Deep purple in color with a violet rim. Nose offers intense raspberry aromas, notes of blackcurrant bud, perfectly combined with spices of wood (vanilla, toasted aromas). With a smooth texture and a medium body structure,
Pairing: Steaks with roasted potatoes, pork tenderloin with grilled vegetables and fresh herb bread.

Intense nose of black fruits with notes of eucalyptus and violets, the Cabernet Franc excels with its purity. Tension and structure give exceptional freshness and length to the wine. The tannins are refined, and the wine has a high level of savory fruit bound together in a velvety and deep structure.
Pairing: Blue cheese and truffle pasta, Greek beef stew or a chocolate souffle.

Made from ungrafted vines that are over 100 years old. A beautiful ruby color with purple reflections.Intense and generous nose of crisp fruit and spices, then notes of tobacco. Gently revealing, great structure and clarity. Balanced flavors, with an incredible silky mouth. Complimented by the vivacious youthful aroma, it has a mature and delicate palate.
